So, I'm riding a 2008 Vulcan 1600 Classic with an aftermarket fairing, and I'm on the hunt for a weather-resistant CarPlay head unit. Right now, I'm kinda leaning towards the Aquatic AV MP5+ yeah, I know, it's made for Harleys, but it's catching my eye.

Now, here's my question, is there any reason this wouldn't work on my Vulcan? I mean, I'd have to grab a Harley thumb control and the module, plus tackle some wiring. That part seems manageable, but is there anything I should be wary of, or any proprietary stuff that's gonna throw a wrench in the works? Would love to get your thoughts!

That Aquatic AV MP5+ seems like the perfect pick for weather resistance. The wiring and Harley controls might take some intense studying, but honestly if you're handy, it's no biggie. Before anything though, do verify connector compatibility and make sure your Vulcan's power setup can handle it without frying anything. Good luck!

Nah, it should work on your Vulcan, but you'll need to sort out Harley-specific controls and some wiring. Nothing major, just be ready for some wiring tweaks to get it running right.
